This Mother's Day, all across America, mothers, grandmothers, and even great-grandmothers will be honored, blessed, and thanked for years of service to their children and families-most will even get a break from cooking! But the Bible says the most honorable quality in a woman is that she fears and honors the Lord.Today, may the Lord bless and honor you as you have honored Him. May you experience refreshment in His presence as you continue to develop your relationship with Him through worship, prayer, and study of the Word. As you do this, I know you will receive the "reward you have earned" and "your works will praise you at the city gate" (Proverbs 31:31).
A Prayer for Today
Thank you, God, for mothers. On the day that we honor them, I pray that I find a special way to express my love and appreciation. Please bless these women who have a special place in Your heart and mine. In Jesus' name – Amen.
